A new concept developed for Síminn in collaboration with foreign parties. Many projects run outside the country, in London, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and elsewhere, both for Icelanders and foreign companies. Lumex buys a stake in Rafport that sells electrical materials. The Salt Company established a collaboration with Lumex and Pennin with a new thought in the design of furniture, lighting and interiors.
